Well, life is back to normal after returning home from the San Antonio Independent Film Festival (SAICFF). It’s great to be back home with my husband Neill, getting lots of rest, and working on other projects I enjoy. Wednesday night was fun filming a video scene for my church Christmas play “A Christmas to Remember,” which I wrote and am directing and performing in as well.
Many of my friends have already heard about some of my upcoming plans but if you have not heard yet, here goes…I am starting a marketing company with which will specialize in Christian entertainment. So whether it be a film, author, actor, recording artist, comedian, and the like, we are here to help you market yourself. This will include branding, media publicity, social marketing, etc. Be looking for a full press release announcing this new company shortly.
I am also working on an online resource which will help to unite the Christian film community—including filmmakers, actors and crew. This will be an all inclusive site which will include casting & crewing, industry news and training. Keep checking back to my blog for more information. In fact, as soon as I add the mailing list link, I encourage you to sign up for my mailing list so you can be informed of new developments like this.
I’ve been a little lax on my Examiner.com column but will get going again on that very shortly. My next article will be a more in depth article on the SAICFF. If you have not yet subscribed to my Examiner.com column, I encourage you to do so. This way, you will receive a notice every time a new article is posted. So, not only will it help you, but it will help me as well. It boosts my rankings in the search engines when people subscribe or post comments. So please help me out and comment on both Examiner.com and on this blog.
